During my career, I have worked with students at every level from Kindergarten to college. My philosophy centers on empowering students to take ownership of the course, embracing evidence-based practices, establishing an inclusive and accessible environment, and fostering critical and creative thinking.

University Instruction
In addition to teaching dramatic literature, public speaking, and introductory courses for majors and non-majors, I have helped redesign a large-scale lecture course, facilitated course transitions into online spaces, and supervised fellow graduate students in a large lecture setting.

Teaching Artistry
As a teaching artist, I draw on my professional experience and my year of teaching middle- and high-school theatre classes to educate students in the fundamentals of storytelling. I frequently work with Young Playwrights’ Theater in Washington, DC.

East Lubbock Promise Neighborhood Grant
As the Arts Coordinator for ELPN, I implemented and oversaw arts enrichment programs for K-12 students in a historically marginalized community in Lubbock, Texas.
